Chris Adair leads business development activities and client relationships for U.S. institutional investors at SLC Management.
Chris originally joined Ryan Labs Asset Management, which now operates under SLC Management, in 2005. Chris has over 27 years of industry experience. In his current role, he works closely with clients, potential institutional investors and consulting firms to provide solutions that demonstrate the value of traditional fixed income, overlay, and tail-hedging .
Chris has extensive experience advising and working with corporations, consultants, hedge funds, pension plans, endowments and foundations on accessing, hedging, and managing a variety of market beta risk. Chris’ portfolio of work includes institutional distribution and advisory roles at Record Currency, Citibank, and BNY Mellon.
Chris holds a B.S. in Finance from Babson College. Chris also holds the Series 3, 7, and 30 licenses.
Head of Consultant Relations
Ryan Croteau leads consultant relations for institutional asset management business including insurance and pension asset management at SLC Management.
Ryan joined SLC Management in 2017 and has over 14 years of industry experience. In his current role, Ryan leads our communications efforts with investment consultants, coordinating closely with the leadership teams, investment management and business development groups representing our insurance and pension asset management business. Ryan’s portfolio of work includes Senior Consultant Relations Manager at Standish Mellon Asset Management.
Ryan has an MBA from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire. Ryan is a CFA Charterholder and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Ryan also holds the Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses.
Head of Insurance Business Development
Brett Lousararian leads business development activities for insurance asset management at SLC Management.
Brett joined Prime Advisors, Inc., which now operates under SLC Management, in 2017 and has over 10 years of experience in asset management. In his current role, he demonstrates the value of our global insurance asset management platform that integrates insurance modelling asset management strategies, and client service to institutional investors.
Brett’s extensive background covers public and private fixed income, equities, real estate, and alternative investment strategies. Prior to joining SLC Management, Brett was responsible for new business generation and client service for insurance companies and healthcare systems nationwide at Barings (formerly Babson Capital). Brett’s portfolio of work also includes institutional distribution and investment roles at Invesco, LongVue Advisors and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Brett graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bryant University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Brett is a CFA Charterholder, and member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
Head of Canadian Business Development & Client Relationships
Heather Wolfe leads business development activities and client relationships for the Canadian institutional business at SLC Management.
Heather joined Sun Life Institutional Investments (Canada) Inc., which operates under SLC Management, in the spring of 2018 and has over 25 years of industry experience. In her current role, she demonstrates the value of traditional and alternative yield strategies, and liability aware solutions to clients, potential institutional investors and consulting firms.
Heather joined Sun Life in 2011 to help grow the Defined Benefit Solutions business where she led sales, client relationships and marketing. She was responsible for creating and selling customized de-risking solutions to Canadian institutional investors, including annuities, longevity insurance and liability driven investing strategies. Heather’s portfolio of work also includes senior roles at TD Bank and Mercer.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and is a qualified actuary in Canada, the U.K., and the U.S.
