WELLESLEY, Mass.; TORONTO, ON; WATERLOO, ON - March 1, 2022 - SLC Management, the US$274 billion (C$347 billion) institutional fixed income and alternatives asset manager, is pleased to announce the appointments of four Senior Managing Directors, effective March 26. These new roles reflect the continued growth and expansion of the investment capabilities the firm offers to clients, providing them with traditional, alternative, and yield-orientated investment solutions across public and private fixed income, real estate, and infrastructure.

Bryan Rowe, Senior Managing Director, Global Portfolio Management
Bryan has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and has worked within the organization for 15 years. Throughout Bryan’s career, he has held various roles in credit risk, analytics, market risk, asset liability management (ALM), and portfolio management. In Bryan’s new role as Senior Managing Director, Global Portfolio Management, he will oversee a global team that develops and executes a variety of investment strategy reviews, aiming to determine optimal asset mixes and introduce new asset classes to improve overall performance and profitability for one of the firm’s largest clients. His team will orchestrate the day-to-day management of cash, asset allocation, investment planning, and surplus management. Bryan holds his CFA and a Masters in Business Administration (Finance). He is based at the firm’s Waterloo, Ontario office.

Daniel (DJ) Lucey, Senior Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager
DJ joined SLC Management in 2009 as a lead portfolio manager for the total return fixed income team. As Senior Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, DJ will continue to manage the team’s core bond strategies, low duration income strategies, and various custom LDI strategies. With a focus on investing in the securitized product sector, DJ will also continue to oversee the fundamental research, portfolio management, and trading across the ABS, CMBS, MBS and CLO sectors for the firm’s portfolios. DJ holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and holds a CFA. DJ is based out of the firm’s Wellesley, Massachusetts office.

Jacqueline (Jackie) Gallant, Senior Managing Director, Head of Institutional Marketing & Communications
Jackie has been with the organization for over 20 years, leading marketing and communications teams for various business units, from Individual Wealth to Group Retirement Services. Jackie was instrumental in launching the firm’s brand across North America during inception and in 2019 led SLC Management’s rebrand to integrate its various fixed income businesses under one brand. Within her expanded role, Jackie will continue to build SLC Management’s profile in a competitive institutional asset management landscape, while engaging clients and prospects globally. Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education. She is based at the firm’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Jeffery (Jeff) Mayer, Senior Managing Director, Private Securitization Finance
Jeff has been part of the organization for over 28 years and has extensive experience in the private credit field. He has been leading the Private Securitization Finance business at SLC Management for the last three years, and in that time has grown annual production by 71%. Though private securitization deals are both complex and in demand, Jeff has an exceptional track record of building trust and market share in this area. Jeff will continue leading the growth of this portfolio by delivering innovative capital solutions while protecting client investments. Jeff has his CFA, CPA, CMA, and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics. He is based in SLC Management’s Waterloo, Ontario office.
