2013
We formed with a founding premise: “doing for clients what we do for ourselves.”
2014
We launched our first private asset class funds in Canada.
2015
We acquired Ryan Labs Asset Management and Prime Advisors – further deepening our fixed income capabilities.
We added exceptional real estate expertise in 2015 by acquiring Bentall Kennedy.
2018
We expanded the real estate platform, merging Bentall Kennedy with GreenOak to form BGO.
2019
We combined our affiliated fixed income institutional asset management businesses – Prime Advisors, Ryan Labs Asset Management, Sun Life Capital Management U.S. LLC, and Sun Life Capital Management Canada Inc. (also referred to as SLC Fixed Income).
2020-2021
We expanded our capabilities further with the addition of InfraRed Capital Partners and Crescent Capital Group.
2023
We acquired Advisors Asset Management (AAM) to extend our investment capabilities into the growing individual high-net-worth market.
