Brett Lousararian is Senior Managing Director, Head of Global Insurance Group for SLC Management.
Brett leads a dedicated team focused on client relationships and business development, working with some of the world's leading insurance companies to deliver bespoke investment solutions. He works across the SLC Management group of companies to leverage robust investment capabilities, insurance solutions knowledge and experience across global regulatory regimes with the aim of driving meaningful value for clients.
Joining SLC Management in 2017, Brett has over 15 years of experience in asset management. In his prior role, he was Head of Strategic Client Relationships for SLC Management, where he worked with some of SLC Management’s most sophisticated global investors to understand their needs and help craft custom solutions that leveraged the firm’s broad platform. He also previously served as Head of Insurance Business Development for SLC Management, in which he led a team that focused on delivering the value of our global insurance asset management platform – integrating insurance modelling, broad investment capabilities and outstanding client service for insurance companies.
Brett’s extensive background covers public and private credit, real estate, and alternative investment strategies. Prior to joining SLC, Brett was responsible for new business generation and client service at Barings (formerly Babson Capital), covering insurance companies and health care systems across the U.S. Brett’s portfolio of work also includes institutional distribution and investment roles at Invesco, LongVue Advisors and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Brett graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bryant University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Brett is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
