Jacqueline Gallant is Senior Managing Director, Head of Institutional Marketing and Communications, for SLC Management.

Jacqueline leads the development of the overall marketing and communications strategy that helps build the market presence of SLC Management and its affiliate brands, its people, and its products across North America. The SLC Management brands include Sun Life Capital Management, BGO, InfraRed Capital Partners, Crescent Capital Group, and Advisors Asset Management.

Jacqueline and her team promote the companies’ investment solutions and insights targeting institutional investors, investment consultants and the media at large. In 2014, Jacqueline was instrumental in launching the Sun Life Investment Management brand in Canada, and in 2019 led the firm’s rebrand to SLC Management commemorating the integration of the fixed income affiliate brands. With the firm having made six acquisitions within six years, Jacqueline and her team have been successfully broadening its reach across North America.

Jacqueline has been with the Sun Life organization for over 25 years and has worked in the Individual Insurance and Wealth and Group Retirement Services businesses, as well as its Corporate Communications area. For 12 years, she led the Group Retirement Services division’s Marketing and Communications team contributing to its number one market position through highly creative, award winning marketing and communications strategies. Her unique experience has been invaluable in the pensions, savings, and investments area where client engagement, and clear business-to-business communication is critical.

A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Bachelor of Education Degree, Jacqueline spent three years teaching Communications before embarking on a career in Marketing and Communications. Jacqueline lends her brand building experience to community and university initiatives and facilitates a program that helps women in business develop their voice.
