Petra Wendroth is Portfolio Manager and Senior Managing Director,Private Fixed Income for Sun Life Capital Management (Canada) Inc. She is responsible for sourcing, structuring and investing in a variety of private debt financings and managing a private fixed income portfolio that includes both investment-grade and below-investment-grade credits.
Petra has over 10 years of industry experience and joined Sun Life in 2012, specializing in structuring and underwriting private fixed income investments including senior middle-market corporate loans and infrastructure transactions (within the long-term care industry) as well as managing private fixed income portfolios. Prior to joining Sun Life, she held finance roles at a leading global asset manager and a major global bank.
Petra has a Bachelor of Business Management from Singapore Management University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Women in Capital Markets organization.
